I’m JackMcMad, a thirtysomething systems administrator from the North East of Ireland. I hate computers, computer users and to get over the stress inflicted by both, I spend most weekends shooting at hi-speed projectiles with my trusty 12 gauge, Noisemaker, sometimes I even hit one or two. I love travelling and I do enjoy socialising but most of the time I’m a grumpy misanthrope. This is my blog.
This is Lady McMad, the Yang to my Yin. She is the sense to my nonsense, the tock to my tick. With the patience and caring of a saint, I honestly don’t know what the fuck she sees in me.

ManDonkey. A beast of burden. With hands the size of shovels and feet that will only fit into shoe boxes, he once carried his then 5 yr old daughter on his shoulders, a rucksack on his back, a rucksack on his chest and a rolled up 4st Tibetan carpet on his head whilst trekking through the Himalayas for a month. Many Yak, at the spectacle of such a feat, died of shame. Unlike his picture, ManDonkey looks nothing like Bill Bailey, but if you put Bill Bailey on a rack and stretched him a bit you’d get something that resembles ManDonkey, long and hairy.
Gorf. A very talented chef whose signature dishes include, ‘Sausage a la Botulism’ which he fed to the neighbours’ dog and ‘Pan Fried chicken with stuffing a la Gentleman’s Relish’ which was served up to restaurant staff that pissed him off. One fucker you don’t want to be stuck on a desert island with as he’s just waiting for the opportunity to cook up and eat some ‘Long Pig’. Once gave himself a dose of salmonella just to get 6 months off work.

A demon on the dancefloor.
Emptyhead. A long time buddy and work colleague, he was once roadie for my band. Now we work together in the Dark Arts of IT. He recently made a huge leap from being buddy to being a potential family member when he started dating my sister and will be abducting her off to Australia this Christmas (2007) for a year or two. Needless to say that didn’t go down well with the PappyMcMad but ah well, he’s a decent skin so good luck to them.
